Exteriors

Exteriors that were taken at and around belconnon mall. With two of the images had to fix the converging lines ether by using photoshop or a tilt shift lens. I attempted to use the tilt shift to fix the converging lines of the buildings, the problem that I found in using this was that it was the first time that I had used the lens so they didnt turn out as well as I would have hoped. But I know what I would need to do now need, to use the rise and fall. I got confused with all the knobs when I just needed to use one of them.

Interiors

As a class we were luckily enough to take photos in belconnon mall. When taking photos of Interiors it is important to use a wide lens so it is possible to get the whole scene. Interiors more often then not have low light conditions, so a tripod is a must so image is not burred. similar to the industrial workshop it is just as important to focus on the small details in the space, by doing this it adds interest to the series.

Landscape

These photos were taken on top of Mt Stromlo. The workshop was to demonstrate landscape photography and the different skills that are needed when shooting landscapes such as HDR and stitching for panoramas. When shooting landscapes it also important to take into consideration the filter that are used, different filters have different effects. The filters that most landscape photographers would use be neural density these allow the photographer to have more exposure because the filter is so dark this lets the photographer have shots of very whispy water. another thing that is just as important is the time of day the photos are taken.
